The Facilities Division is the backbone that ensures all Smith County Emergency Services District 2 buildings and facilities are maintained, safe, and fully operational, providing a reliable environment for our team and the community we serve.

To manage, maintain, and enhance the physical infrastructure of Smith County ESD2, ensuring all facilities support the efficient delivery of emergency services and daily operations.

Building Maintenance: Ensuring all ESD2 buildings are safe, secure, and well-maintained, providing a reliable working environment for our team.
Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all facilities comply with safety standards and regulations, safeguarding our team and visitors.
Project Management: Overseeing the planning and execution of facility-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Continuous Improvement: Continually enhancing facilities to support the evolving needs of Smith County ESD2 and the community.
Safety Inspections: Conducting regular safety inspections and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Grounds Keeping: Performing routine maintenance of grounds and landscaping, identifying needs, and addressing issues to ensure a safe and aesthetically pleasing facilities.
Facility Upgrades: Managing and implementing facility upgrades to enhance functionality and safety.
