About the Dixie Volunteer Fire Department
Founded in the mid 70's Dixie Volunteer Fire Department has been serving the Dixie, New Harmony and surrounding communities ever since.
District Chief:
Matt York – I have served on the Dixie Fire Department since 1982, and I have climbed the ranks starting as a fireman and progressing through Safety Officer, Lieutenant, Captain, Asst. Chief and since 2013 I have served as the Chief.
